Abandoned couches
Upcountry as I drove around,
I found a corner with a mound.
A sign sayin' no dumpin'
and a rank and file of appliances.
Ovens, dishwashers, big ol' square ones.
On a corner up in heaven.
At least fifteen, probably thirty five.
I scrambled up the hillside.
Begged and pleaded for one more picture.
Promised camera I'd be stricter.
But it didn't believe me.
So I didn't get corrupted scenery.
Ocean glowing in the way down background.
Big ol' sign sayin' can't get to Kihei town.
Even if it's just right over down there.
This is playin' we call this fair.
